It’s time to have some fun! After staying inside for a year while battling a pandemic, let’s come back together for some laughter, good food and good times! Summer Fun 2021 is full of great events for you to choose from.
June 5, 9a-1pm: Meet The Neighbors – While Baragumu and Oasis adults are in their prayer meetings, children and youth will make sack lunches to be delivered by the young adults.
June 6, 12:45pm: Family Picnic and Prayer Tour – A hot dog lunch will be served! A “Love Offering” will be accepted to help cover food cost. Gethsemane Staff will be available for walk through tours of Gethsemane, including Small Steps. Bring blankets and/or lawn chairs, as limited tables and chairs will be available. After you’ve enjoyed lunch on the Green Space, we will have prayer packets that each family can pick up. These packets will have a map of the community we serve, with a little note about that partner/location and a prayer.
June 25, 6-8pm: Family Game Night – Pizza and games for all! Enjoy some friendly competition? Join us for board games, cards and pizza. Childcare will be available.
July 11, 12:45p: Family Field Day (after church) – Old fashioned fun for the whole family! We’ll have sack races, bubble soccer, volleyball and maybe some kids vs adults SOCCER! Of course there will be prizes and a trophy for the winners. And enjoy a “Build Your Own Salad Bar”!
July 15, 10a : Miller Outdoor Theater: More information to come!
