Ways to Serve

Cook & Serve a Meal
Gethsemane family comes together and shares a family-style meal with each other prepared by church members and volunteers. We are currently in need of volunteers who would love to participate in cooking and serving a meal to the congregation and people of the community! Volunteers should arrive and start preparing a meal at 5 p.m. We start serving at 6 p.m. and clean up at 7 p.m.

Meet the Neighbors
Be part of an exciting community & apartment ministry and see what a difference we are making in the Gulfton/Sharpstown neighborhood! Join our Gethsemane family to make sandwiches (in the Gethsemane kitchen) at 10 a.m. or come at 11:30 a.m. and pass out lunches and play with kids at nearby apartment complexes. Email Amy Kelley for more details or just sign up!

Organize & Restock
The Mercy Closet needs some tender, love, and care! We are in need of volunteers, who would love to help organize and maintain Gethsemane’s Mercy Closet for about an hour each day. If you have any questions or would like to sign up, please contact Noelia Fadic.
