There are four worship services at Gethsemane:
Traditional worship at 9 a.m.: in English, classic Methodist worship in the sanctuary with hymns, robes, and a choir.
Baragumu African Fellowship at 10 a.m.: in Swahili, worship and Bible study in the Fellowship Hall.
Oasis Comunidad Cristiana at 11 a.m.: in Spanish, contemporary worship in the sanctuary with high-energy music and preaching.
Emerge at 11 a.m.: in English, contemporary worship in The Café in an intimate setting with young adults and youth.
Sunday Morning Nursery
8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
For ages 2 months – Pre-K We offer caring and safe childcare for children ages 2 months – 23 months while parents/guardians attend any of our morning worship services and/or Sunday School.
Special Sundays:
- On fifth Sundays, we come together for one worship service at 10:30am in the sanctuary. We call this Kinship Sunday. All four worship services lead worship in English, Spanish, and Swahili.
- We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month in all services (and the third Sunday in Emerge)
- Break Bread is on the first Sunday of the month in the Fellowship Hall at 10am. Break Bread is a potluck brunch with food from all over the world.
