Children will have an early celebration for Baby Jesus during Children’s Worship time. Craft and Snacks will be provided.

Silver Circle

Silver Circle is our monthly meeting for our Senior Adults, where they meet to play fun games, break bread together, celebrate birthdays and have an awesome time of fellowship!

Horton Hullabaloo (A celebration of Pastor David’s Ministry)

On Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 6:00pm we are going to celebrate Rev. David Horton with yummy dinner, banana pudding pie, a slide show and some other special surprises! Since they are moving (staying in Houston), we are collecting a love offering as a house warming gift for Pastor David, Pastor Brandi and the girls. You can either turn in cash to Amy Kelley OR Venmo here @Amy-Kelley-30 (you must have the Venmo App). If you’d like to share photos or help in the prepping, please contact Amy Kelley!

For All: Worship at St. Luke’s for The Christmas
Festival
8:30, 9:45 or 11am
Gethsemane -English, Swahili and Spanish communities- will worship with our St. Luke’s family at the Westheimer campus (3471 Westheimer Rd. Houston TX 77027). If you need transportation, we will provide buses to the 9:45am and 11:00am services. You must be at Gethsemane at 8:30am for the 9:45am service OR 10:15am for the 11:00am service. We have limited space on the buses, so please sign up or carpool. No Sunday morning activities at Gethsemane.
For All: Las Posadas
3-7pm
Las Posadas is a special event for all Gethsemane(English, Swahili and Spanish communities) where we visit homes and sing Christmas carols to reenact Mary and Joseph’s journey. All the houses that we will visit are within the Gulfton and Bellaire area. After visiting the last home, we will gather at church to celebrate by sharing a meal. If you need bus transportation, please check the box and select how many seats you need.

Christmas Eve
Family Service

A family friendly service for all! We will celebrate the birth of Jesus with favorite Christmas carols, a brief Christmas Eve message, and a candlelight vigil at the end as we sing Silent Night.
DEC 25
Traditional Christmas Day Service
11am – 12pm
Sleep in and come to worship at 11am. on Christmas day! Christian pajamas are welcome! Bring family from out of town!
Baragumu (African Fellowship) Christmas Day Service
11am – 2pm
Join us to celebrate God’s glory to the world! Lunch will be provided.

Baragumu (African Fellowship) New Year’s Eve Worship Service
10pm – 6am
Prepare to receive the new year worshipping God! We’ll thank God for what He did in 2022 and dream for what He can do in 2023. A vigil filled with prayer, worship and praise!
